Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery is situated in the middle of Lake Champlain which they are able to produce vinifera grapes that prefer milder climates, such Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, and Riesling, for use in white wine.
They also make distinctive late harvest and dessert wines as a result of Vermont's chilly winter weather. The authentic Vidal Blanc Ice Wine is a dessert wine that is unique to our region of the world. This is made the old-fashioned way by hand-picking the grapes in the middle of December when they have the highest sugar concentration.
